Join your colleagues in Chicago for the SIS Annual Meeting, which will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to overcome the controversies and challenges of spine intervention. The General Session offers 17.5 CME credits, starts with a Welcome Reception at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, and closes Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Want more CME? Take one of the two Precourses before the Annual Meeting, then stay for the General Session through Saturday afternoon. If you take the new Lumbar Essentials course and stay for the General Session, you can earn up to 34.25 CME credits. If you cannot make it in on Tuesday, or early enough on Wednesday, you can still join the research poster authors during the Welcome Reception, your first networking opportunity during the meeting.

Support Advocacy, Education, and Research at the Annual Meeting Around the corner from the Chicago Hilton, enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience at an authentic Chicago blues club. The SIS Fundraiser at Buddy Guy's Legends is a private event on Thursday that includes hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and admission to the club’s mainstage.

Friday morning you can have an unforgettable Chicago experience with your colleagues, friends, and family at the 5th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk for Research. We will gather at the Hilton Chicago and walk to Grant Park for a route along the lakefront with majestic views of the Chicago skyline. You will also receive a commemorative T-shirt to celebrate your achievement. All registration fees for the run are donated to the SIS Research Fund to help address important questions in interventional spine care.

Separate registration is required for the Fundraiser and the Fun Run.

2017 Annual Meeting Recap

This year the Society's Annual Meeting will be held in Chicago, where the next chapters of the SIS story are being written. The 2017 meeting was in San Francisco, the city where SIS grew into what it is today.

We invite you to relive and share some of your favorite moments of the SIS 2017 Annual Meeting on Facebook. Follow this link for the #SIS25th photo gallery.

Thanks to two anonymous donors who pledged matching donations, SIS raised $21,430 during the 2017 meeting and an additional $6,275 from the 4th Annual Fun Run/Walk for Research. You can continue the momentum by making a single donation or enrolling to make an automated monthly contribution to address the constant research, advocacy, and education challenges and opportunities. Click here to support your specialty.
